I was referred to Moon Kim from a friend who had sold a business using Moon and V-AID Group as a broker.  I made contact with Moon and after a number of visits decided to list one of our companies with Moon.  The preparation and analysis that Moon did prior to listing was detailed and thorough.  He knew our business inside out.  He told us what he thought the listing price should be and indicated that he expected to get a contract for that price.  Within  a few weeks we had a contract for that listing price.  The buyer was qualified and financed part of the purchase through SBA.  I had no prior experience with SBA, but Moon did.  He knew precisely what was needed and when it would be needed.  He was in contact with the Bank and SBA continually.  He was also in contact with me regularly.   If I had a question or concern at any point, he was prompt in his response.

This sale did not complete without a few bumps in the road, none of which were the fault of Moon or his company.  However, the awareness and sensitivity of the delicate nature of negotiation was very obvious.  Moon wanted to see the sale finalize and so did the buyer and our company.  He was in contact with both of us giving advice when it was requested, but was not overbearing or controlling.  When we met with the buyer to renegotiate part of the purchase agreement, Moon was present, but silent other than when it was entirely appropriate for him to speak.

From initial conversation to closing Moon and V-Aid Group were professional, informed, analytical, prompt, candid, honest and fair.   What has happened to businesses like this??  It is so rare to find someone who will do what they say, when they say they will and do it, as well or better than expected.  Moon Kim and V-Aid Group were exactly that kind of business for us.

Stephen patiently walked us through the process of purchasing our first business. He answered every question and kept us reassured that all was going well. I would use him if we buy again.

Stephen Lee of V-AID Group approached our business a few years back and asked if we were interested in selling. At the time, we were not,. A few years later, due to health reasons and other factors, we decided to sell the business. Stephen was great at advising us of everything we would need to do in order to sell the business for our asking price. For no fault of anyone, the first prospective buyer did not qualify. We mulled not selling the business but Stephen assured us that, due to the success of the business, someone would come along. Not more than a month later, Stephen presented us with another buyer whom he “vetted” and assured us that they were indeed qualified. We closed on the business on 15 September 2021 and Stephen was with us throughout the entire process, including all of the details related to the sale. His coordination efforts were superb.
